Homeowners!

Yes, that's right. Ryan and I are officially homeowners! We closed on June 24th and moved in on June 28th. We've been here just short of a week now. And it's... Awwwwesome.

I can't really describe it. But every time I turn into our neighborhood and spot our house, I get this huge smile on my face and think, wow, that's OUR house!

We have been incredibly blessed. We only seriously looked at a couple of places. When we first started looking back in April, we were just toying with the idea. We thought we'd just see what was out there and get an idea of what we could afford and maybe buy in the fall. But then we saw this house. -->

And fell in love. It was everything we wanted and more! Not only that, but amazingly enough, we could afford it! Everything fell into place and the bank accepted our offer on May 1st.  Closing seemed to take foreeeever. But alas, it's over now. And we're here. It's ours. Yay!

I am writing this from my new living room. My husband, his dad, my dad and my brother are outside starting the exhausting process of building a privacy fence. I feel a little bad not helping, but they keep yelling at me every time I try. So I've resolved to stay inside and out of the way. That's where they like me. Haha.

We have a few more projects to do and then I think we will finally relax! It's been nonstop since we closed last week. But the excitement gives us the energy to keep going! We are amazed that this beautiful home is our first house. And we look forward to staying in one place for awhile. =)
